A few options are:
Give careful thought on where your horse will live BEFORE you even go looking for him. Nothing is quite as stressful as having that first horse and nowhere to move him to.
What's the difference between 'property' and 'horse property'?
Well, horses tend to be accident prone... and they're more fragile than cattle. Yes, a horse can live on acreage and run with cattle and be just fine. But cow pastures are usually fenced with barbed wire. Barbed wire and horses just don't mix.
So I define horse property as a place specifically designed for a horse with safety as the first consideration.
